| South Lake Tahoe (in the distance) |
Today
was a light travel day, so we slept in a bit and then drove around Lake Tahoe
and up to Chester, CA, where we are in position for a visit to Lassen Volcanic
National Park tomorrow. Along the way, we stopped in Carson City to take a look
at the Capitol and then drove through South Lake Tahoe and up the western side
of the lake. We made a quick stop to see Squaw Valley, which was the site of
the 1960 Winter Olympics.
