Day 26 - Northern Arizona

Well, I'm a-standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Today was mostly driving to reposition us for a visit to the Petrified Forest National Park tomorrow morning. We left Vegas in the morning and drove 5 hours to Holbrook, AZ, where we are spending the night. There really wasn’t too much to see along the way, but we did make a stop in Winslow, AZ, for some obligatory photos. If you know the Eagles, you’ll get the reference.

Such a fine sight to see (Jeanne with Glenn Frey)
After 5 days of hot weather, we are finally back to cooler weather and back at a higher elevation in Holbrook which is over 5000 feet. Also in a rarity for this area, we have a rainy evening.
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
